All you need to do to join the Gas Price Project is to create a Google id if you don't have one already and e-mail it to Lisa Chantiny. Include your name, your school's name, your city, state and zip code. I will then add you your name to list of people who can modify the Gas Price spreadsheet in Google Documents. I will e-mail you back to let you know when you are added to my project.
You can then use my lesson plans for finding the gas price without state taxes and find the closest oil refinery is to your school. You can do these activities can be done at any time. All I ask is that you update the Google document with the gas price in your area on December 1, 2008. Please have the information input before December 8,2008.
Once everyone has updated the Google Documents after December 8, 2008, your students can start the correlation and Line of Best Fit activities.
