The First American Flag

The first flag, from 1777 and thought not to have survived the time period, has been found! Soon it will be displayed at a museum. You will write the display plaque that will explain to museum guests the history of the flag, including who created it. You will need to do some research in order to present the facts to the visitors. I have provided you with several sources, and some guidelines for evaluating the credibility of the sites.
