The Incredible String Band - Wee Tam & The Bige Huge
A double CD that should dazzle any stringed-instrument player's heart. It is folk-ish and most assuredly Scottish, but that 2 (mostly), musicians could put together a work like this before they turned 20 is mind-boggling. Guitars, sitars, and more ebb and flow out of modal regions unheard of. Keys change direction, there is no band like this, and unfortunately, no one has picked up on this. Extraordinary brilliance. If any guitarists can keep up, let us know…
