For my participate project I will be working on a Day at My School
Project. This project will be done with my fifth grade classes.
Students will be involved in an exchange of information on the A Day at
My School Blog about
subjects in school, technology, lunch, outdoor activities, and school
rules. The
project will take place from September to December. Students from
each of the schools will prepare multimedia projects such as video and
PowerPoints about the topics above and then share them on the blog.
Another important aspect of this project will be commenting
on the
blog. Students will be expected to post questions to
begin a collaborative sharing of information about our cultural
similarities and differences. Right now the host class is from Taipei
City, Taiwan and there are other participating class from San Fillippo
in Italy, and Stonington, Connecticut.
