This semester I was involved in a class called "Telecommunications in the Classroom". Through the use of the internet, students have a wealth of information and activities at their fingertips. Deciding whether the information is credible or worthwhile is the hard part. This semester we completed 3 projects which pertain to these issues. We completed a telecommunications project that would connect the students to other students in state, country, and possibly world. We created a Critical Literacy Information Project which forces students to analyze the web sites they use to see if the information can be used or not. Finally, we searched the web ourselves for Web 2.0 web sites that we could use with our students and posted what we found on a Blog. Check my projects out.
