This semester I completed four main projects in the class, ET 630: Telecommunications in the Classroom. The first project was the Web Site Project. This project involved creating a web site (this site) that could contain all of my other projects. A second project involved creating a blog, which includes links to various Web 2.0 technologies. The Web 2.0 technologies that are mentioned on my blog are technologies that could be used in the classroom. In addition to the links, I gave written descriptions of how each technology can be used with students. A third project I completed was the Participate Project. During this project, I chose a current telecollaborative project on the web, and I described how my students and I will participate. The fourth project was the Critical Information Literacy Project. In this project, I provided the students with a topic and web sites to research the topic. Their goal will be to critically analyze the websites, and use information from the appropriate sites in their assigned project.
