There are four projects in ET630 that need to be completed in order to
fulfill
course requirements.I created this website as a source for these projects. The links can
be followed to locate each project. I have provided a brief description of each project
as a reference. Please feel free to contact me at the link to my e-mail
address below should you have any questions.
I hope that this web site serves as a tool for educators who are interested in
incorporating various Web 2.0 technologies into their classrooms and for those
who want to teach their students how to critically evaluate a web site.
Web 2.0: This project required that I research several Web 2.0 technologies and blog about them. On my blog you will find the following Web 2.0 technologies:
I included a description of each of these technologies as well as their uses and educational benefits. I also included examples of a few of these technologies.
Critical Information Literacy Project: I created a lesson for my students where they must critically analyze information on the Internet about "School Uniforms". I created a lesson plan with objectives to use with a third grade class. The ultimate goal of this project was to teach my students how to critically analyze information on the web and use this information to write a persuasive essay supporting their assigned point of view.
Participate Project: I chose a telecollaborative project that I would like to participate in with my students. I described my plan for participating in this project as well as how I will incorporate it into my curriculum.
Web Site Project: I created this web site to use as my web site project. On this web site you will find links to my projects which contain educational content.
